This course has been operating for years and is designed for people who are involved, or wanting to become involved in the business of herbs. It covers less horticulture and focused more strongly on herbs than the Certificate in Horticulture -Herbs. This course is more appropriate for the small business operator who not only grows herbs but also harvests and value adds (eg. perhaps producing herb products).

What's in Each Lesson?
A typical lesson involves set reading (which we provide), a set task (eg. research or practical), a written assignment (to be submitted), and preparing plant reviews (see below).
Plant Reviews
With each assignment you will required to prepare plant reviews. Each plant should be named, described and illustrated. Throughout the course you will review 180 different herbs

You should record any information that might be important to selecting and using this plant for a landscape design e.g.
Write approximately up to half a page for each plant.
