Institute of Administrative Management Certificate (IAM Certificate level 2 and 3 combined)

  The IAM Level 2 and 3 Certificate in Principles of Business and Administration supports those already working in, or aspiring to work in, business positions. Holders of the qualification will develop essential knowledge and understanding across a range of practices and learn how to work collaboratively. A combination of mandatory and optional units based on the business and administration national occupational standards, offers learners flexibility to study units of specific interest. This is a combination course, however on successful completion you will be awarded with a Institute of Administrative Management Level 2 and 3 Certificate. Entry Criteria: There are no specific entry requirements for this course, although some previous experience in business administration is recommended but not essential.

The supervisor offers critically constructive feedback and guidance throughout this process. In brief, a supervisor’s role is to ensure accountability, conduct training, and offer professional support.

  This unit aims to raise learner awareness of the different types of ICT skills, and provide the opportunity for them to develop these skills commensurate with H4 and H5 study. The course is delivered via distance learning with no face to face contact between tutors and students, therefore understanding appropriate research techniques, portfolio skills and self-reflection is important in terms of independent study at this level as well as facilitating a positive learning experience Students are encouraged to conduct independent research related to the Business Studies Applications using ICT skills, so that they can begin to compile their own resource list and also prepare themselves for further and more complex activities later in the course Course Requirements All students must be 17 years of age and above. Students should have completed a Level 3 Diploma or A level standard course (or equivalent) before the Level 5 qualification.

Institute of Administrative Management Diploma (IAM Diploma)

  The IAM Level 4 Diploma in Business and Administrative Management supports those already working in, or aspiring to work in, business management positions. Holders of the qualification will also be eligible for progression to various UK university degree programs. A combination of mandatory and optional units offers learners the flexibility to study those units that are of interest to them. LEVEL 4 DIPLOMA IN BUSINESS AND ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGEMENT – Equivalent to 1st year of a UK Bachelors Degree Entry Requirements:  Applicants for the level 4 diploma must hold a minimum of grade C GCSE pass or above or equivalent to level 3 or 4 respectively. Level 4 or 5 course applicants not from a majority English speaking country, must pass English at a level equivalent to CEFR B2 (minimum scores below) and provide one of the following as proof: IELTS 5.5 (with a minimum of 5.5 for listening, reading, writing and speaking) TOEFL iBT (listening - 21, reading - 22, writing - 21, speaking 23) Pearson PTE Academic (minimum of 51 in listening, reading, writing and speaking) Cambridge ESOL (Minimum level FCE) Please note: TOEFL, Pearson and IELTS expire after 2 years.
